End User License Agreement
Last updated: February 2026
1. Parties
This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is between Laura Otto Solutions (“we”, “Licensor”) and the person or entity using the Service (“you”, “Licensee”).
2. Definitions
“Service” means Market Signal, the SaaS web application for AI-powered market research. “SaaS” means the Service is accessed via a web browser; no download or local installation is required.
3. License grant
Subject to timely payment and compliance with this EULA, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Service during your active subscription, within the limits of your plan.
3.1 Account and access. You must register and maintain an account. We may perform subscription and usage checks to ensure compliance with plan limits.
4. Restrictions
You must not:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service (except where mandatory law permits).
- Resell, rent, lease, or sublicense access to the Service (except where mandatory law permits).
- Use the Service for unlawful purposes or automated scraping.
- Use output from the Service to train AI or machine-learning models without our written consent.
- Remove or obscure proprietary notices.
5. AI-powered analysis and third-party data
The Service uses AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic) to analyse publicly available Reddit discussions and search trends (DataForSEO). Insights are generated by AI and are for informational purposes only — they do not constitute business, financial, or legal advice. We are not affiliated with Reddit Inc.
6. Privacy and data processing
6.1 We process account data, queries, and usage data as described in our Privacy Policy. Queries and Reddit content are sent to AI providers for analysis (inference only); we do not use this data to train AI models. Data Processing Agreements and Standard Contractual Clauses are in place for international transfers.
6.2 The Service does not capture, store, or request your passwords for third-party services.
7. Updates
We may provide updates (patches, improvements, security fixes) during your subscription term.
8. Warranties and disclaimer
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, the Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Your mandatory consumer rights under applicable law (including the Digital Content Directive) are unaffected.
9. Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited to direct damages and capped at the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the event. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, except where mandatory law requires otherwise. Nothing in this EULA limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Termination
We may terminate this EULA if you materially breach its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the Service. Sections that by nature should survive will survive termination.
11. Governing law and disputes
This EULA is governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes are subject to the courts of Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
